Where to Mount Custom Sliderz

Im making some custom sliderz with a friend who will do most of the work and need to know if we need to bolt to the frame (1 i think) or 2 (location of original running board mount). I want to be able to support the vehicles weight on these and mounting location is key. I'm right in thinking there is no way on earth that the stock boards will support the vehicle's weight right?

Help me decide, post why, and please remeber i want bolt on. What bolts would you suggest and is drilling required? Thanks

You're right, the stock running boards will not support any weight. The sliderz should be bolted/mounted to the frame rails.

Three mounts is a minimum, but I'd suggest 4 if you plan on actually USING them...
