I have removed the intake and while putting it back I don't know where this 3 red wires on one lug. The vacuum stuff was okay but I didn't label this. Does anyone know where it goes? It comes out of that main wiring harness with the 90 degree elbow and ends up right under the intake.


It's a 22RE. It's a bare metal square lug. Looks like a ground candidate but I don't remember unhooking it.

It could very well possibly be just a plug that is used for an accessory your truck does not have. Toyota put the same wiring harness with all the same(mostly) connections in their trucks and 4runners, regardless of the options and accessories.

It would be a lot easier if you could get a pic of it.

Yes it is a ground strap and if I remember correctly it gets grounded under either of the bolts I have boxed in red.

its a ground u put on one of the intake manifold bolts

 

Bolt that down to your intake, its a ground wire.

 

Thanks! I hooked it up and got the truck started. It started without it but it's nice to know where it goes.

 

it looks like the injector ground...im a little late but thats what it looks like.
