my new beefy bumper.
This weighs a ton! only cost me $200 dollars in materials. Square tubing, round tubing, and 1/4" plate steel. I'm currently working on my rear bumper. Feel free to give comments or suggestions for my rear bumper or this one. I'm planning on putting rock sliders on, and eventually doing a SAS with 4-link front and rear susp.

It took about maybe 40 hours to build. not real sure. just did it in the evenings for a couple of months. and as for the turn signals...... Yeah not exactly D.O.T. legal, but they got me through when all of my auto parts stores were closed late sunday night.

When do you most often need the winch? Offroad
I'd hate to lug that thing on and off every time i got stuck, and plug in the wires while me or a buddy is in need of a pull.
The bumper itself looks good though, props

yeah, the actual approach angle is not that bad once the winch is taken off. I mounted the receiver back in enough so that it does not stick out hardly at all. I'm still waiting on my quick connectors for my winch, and i'm thinking of mounting those up on top by the grill, so they don't get damaged or crudded up with mud on the underside there. I made the winch plate so i can stick it in the rear end and throw it inside when i'm done for the day. people around here like to steal stuff off of you rig.

Looks like it'll definitely scrape due to the approach angle. But hey, looks like you built it tough enough to handle anything you throw at it. You might have do be doing a lot of touch-up work, but that's no big deal. Nice work
