i need these flares

Why doesn't anybody make flares like this for a 3rd gen? Rear especially! this is rediculous i have been looking for flares for weeks, this should be easy but there is just nothing out there. i have 35's on mine that stick out too far for johnny law. i got pulled over for it and he gave me 15 days to fix it. well my time is almost up. i need flares now. i might end up having to make them. i just have no time. does anybody know if anyone makes them?

If you are truly pressed for time use black crazy carpets to line the fender well.

It may not look pretty, but it will tide you over until you can find the ones you want.

You might contact user: Belize Off Road Team as they posed this pic 02-16-08 and might be able to help.

Also, you might try searching under "Hilux" or "Surf" as opposed to "4Runner". The Scandinavians and Europeans as well as the Australians seem to have lines on things like this.

Don't know why someone hasn't said it yet but Bushwackers are almost your only quick quality choice. They sell them on ebay but don't get any wider than the limited flares. Good luck

Replied to your PM, if no luck finding them in Japan, then i know for sure that Arctic Trucks out of the great white north will either sell them or make them, either way they will be your best bet.

What do you mean the bushwackers are no good? You don't think they are good quality or you don't like them? As MillerPKA said, if you want something quick without having to have something shipped from overseas or build your own, the bushwackers are gonna be your only option.

Agree with snowrunner98, do you still have your stock tires you can throw back on to buy you some time and get through the inspection?

If it is only for an inspection, then get some rubber, cut it to the width that your tires stick out, and bolt the rubber to the existing holes for fender trim. Then simply remove them after inspection.

Warn fender flares or bushwacker fender flares. Search the web, you'll find them.

Personally, I've had Warn fender flares on my truck for 13 years and they are still going strong. I had to make some cuts in order to fit my tires and I've taken them off once for a new coat of paint but they still look like new.

that is the contact info for the company that owns that white Surf posted earlier. Contact them and ask them what brand those wheels arch flares are.

i personally love the "north pole" flares, massive flares for the mk2 hilux will fit the surf with minor modification to the rear flares.

On the 3rd gen 4Runner, any "pick up" aka "Tacoma" aka "Hilux" flares will need more than "minor modification" to fit a 4Runner. Part of the single rear pick up flare needs to mount to the door and part need to mount to the rear panel. In other words, each 1 piece rear pick up flare would need to be cut in two. Once you do that, it wouldn't be simple to mount to the door since fender flares are hallow. I am not saying that it can't be done but it would be tricky. Also keep in mind that the front fenders on the 96+ 4Runner are unique to the pick ups also. From 96 on, the 4Runner has front fenders different to the Tacoma and Hilux. All 3 vehicle have totally unique bodies now.

For the 90-95 4Runners, we can special order the JDM style fender flares for anyone that needs them.
