Anyone mount Hellas to factory roof rack?

Of a 3rd Gen? I am contemplating this but I would like to know if anyone has done this and if so how does it look. I would like to mount 4 Hella 500s to the top.

I don't know how you would do that since the cross/load bars sit on the roof of the 4Runner and the bars that do go across are that weird shape, not round or square, but I guess it could be done with some special mounts or by drilling. I've never seen it and I just did some searches last week about how to mount lights and didn't see anything on that. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist though.

Hope you find something. www.rackattack.com has Thule racks 15% off. Mine come in today and I am mounting my Hellas to the Thule

I got what Jackson has on his 4Runner. Look at his sight for pics. Here is the link:

Let me know if this doesn't work, I just copied it and pasted it.

I don't know why you couldn't mount the lights to the front cross bar. You would just have to drill 4 holes. I mounted my CB antanae to the cross bar this way. It was a 4' Firestik and it did flex the bar but the lights shouldn't be a problem. As long as the mounting screws on the lights are long enough to go through the bar. I have a 500 sitting at home not mounted and could check the length of the bolt. Here is a good way to bring the wires into the truck. Go to Toyota and get the rubber gasket thingy that routes the rear window washer line into the interior. There is a hole near the third brake light to insert this gasket into and run the wires through.

Thanks for all of the replies. Since my B-day, is right around the corner, maybe I'll ask my wife for some cross bars.
