Sup fellas...tryin to hook up my cousin with a lift for his 94 pickup. he wants to get off the rails basically and would like anywhere from 2-6". I'm a jeep man myself and have experience with lift kits and install but know little about toyota lifts. I suggested a spring-over in the rear but the front I'm not so sure about.

anyway--I need some help with the best/cheapest way to do this. Doesn't have to be an awesome flexer or anything, just get him off the ground a little. *my window sill is at his roof line to give you an idea of my jeep vs his truck....

I make a 1" - 2" body lift kit for the 2WD pickups.

You could pobably crank up the torsion bars in front and add a longer spring shackle in back for another 1" - 2" of lift then install taller tires for additional lift.

 

Downey has some suspension items.

 

Fabtech has some neat 2wd stuff.

How big do you want to go?

Is it supposed to be pre-runnerable?

There were some threads here better than 3 months ago about converting 2wds to 4wd and lifts and such.

 

Awesome stuff guys. Actually I think he just wants between 2-4" to get his little truck up out of the dirt. He gets stuck in puddles here guys...haha Any way I may try the torsio bar/shackle thing first then look into crawler's body lift if he has one that's 2 or 3". Keep it coming fellas, this is great stuff.

I've got an older 2wd (86) with about 4" or so lift on it and 31" tires:

I have the fabtech 3.5" lift, 4crawlers 1" body lift and AllPro 5" lift springs in back (4wd springs with center pin flipped to work under the axle).
With 31x11.5 tires on 15x8 wheels with 3.75" backspacing, I get a little rub full lock going over bumps and stuff. If I had a narrower tire, it probably wouldn't.
