Does anybody have the FROR FULL FLOATER kit?

I wonder how much stronger this would make the rear axle components. I like the addition of supra callipers for discs in the back because they retain the e-brake. i know i'd have to get new axles.Jhust wondering if anybody has the kit or what your opinions are. And can anyone tell my what an axle built like this would be equivilant to i.e. D44? D60? I have v6 diffs and yukon gears and detroit locker.
Is this mostly for strength or ease of fixing things when they break?

I got it. Great kit. There is a writeup about it on 4x4wire.com
Supra calipers are stupid $$$ and suck. Get a d-shaft ebrake.

If you break an axle shaft as you are, your tire falls off. With a FF you just pull the shaft and continue.

I think it might be a bit of a stretch to say it makes the axle assembly stronger, although the axleshafts that come with the kit ARE cromoly.

It ABSOLUTELY makes your rig more damage-tolerant, and gives you a TON more options to get off the trail if something happens - including grenading a third.

The Supra calipers are next to impossible to find - the ones you need were only offered for a year and a half or so. Several of us have asked Brian to rework the kit using something more available.

^^x2. Also, as on option, you could put manual hubs on the rear instead of the flange and make flat towing a breeze...if you want that sort of thing. I have the All Pro kit it has been one of my favorite mods. However, I would definately go the FROR route if I was to do it all over again.

FROR sells a secondary kit that uses stock SFA calipers and rotors, but you will have to use something else for an e-brake.

That is correct, or wheel chocks.

I'm running All pro's transfercase e-brake kit:

Skys's offroad also sells one:

They probably both work about the same I imagine but differ in price.
