Exclamation LC Pro Air Intake Kit

does anyone out there have this product or one like it?
im thinking about buying it but i heard it can reduce your engines like by like 25% and i'de use the k&n aircleaner bag that goes over the actual air filter for more filtration yada yada yada

i dont think id install a product that reduced ur engine

from my experience with aftermarket filters (which is very limited but i just installed my own), it makes the car sound cooler and allows for more HP.

You'd probably be better off, and save some money, by doing the battery/airbox swap and the Supra mod.

airboxes from the dealer cost $800. Have no idea about what they cost from a junkyard, but 50 bucks is hard to beat.

now i know K&N and other nice air filter setups cost $100+, but for some of us without a choice, the aftermarket setup has a high appeal. I was motivated by my lack of airbox, so.... ya

Are you still using the factory AFM (MAF/VMAF/AFM whatever it's called) in the factory location?

i just cut the bottom outta my factory air box gave it a nice vroom a little bit of pickup junkers88 what battery airbox swap u talkin bout?

Exactly what you think it is, swap the airintake with the battery. So less tubing for the intake.

I love to post pictures.

This is the battery/air box swap. I actually did the Supra MAF install at about the same time so it isn't exactly a swap. I had to extend the wires for the MAF plug but it was easy and turned out pretty clean.

Oh and since we're posting pictures here's a fav of mine, no it's not a yota but it was fun.

I'd have to look to be sure but I think it's 22250-43110. Came of off an 5m-ge motor in an 82 Supra, direct plug-n-play. There are a ton of threads on this since it seems that lots of folks are looking to do the swap.
