What is a clean 85 sr5 worth?

sorry, this is another what is my truck worth post. i have been considering getting a tacoma or runner and doing a sas, i already have a trail gear hd lift and 2 elockers and crossover steering waiting in the garage.
it is an 85 with a 22re 5sp sr5 package new carpet and virtually rust free, which is pretty rare around these parts. i spent all but the last 2 years in texas and i put new wheel bearings in it and vented rotors, 32 cooper stt's and rock crawlers.
am i retarded for wanting to get rid of it?

Why would you go through all the trouble of doing a SAS on a tacoma when you have a sweet 85?
I say keep it

i sort of wish i had a newer 4runner, it just seems a waste to just chop and beat the crap out of it when its so clean.

If you can afford it I'd say keep it for a spare truck. I'd love to have a clean 85 xtra cab as a second vehicle.

I'd say it's not retarded to want to get rid of it if you sell it to me. And I have no idea how rare it is so I'm only going to pay like $1,000.

That truck is awesome. I would love to have that truck. But, that's also how I feel about my '83 and probably 90% of the general population would rather send it to the crusher than drive it, so...if you don't love the truck, sell it to someone who will. Hopefully they won't chop/lift/cut it all up. There's plenty of beaters out there for that. This one's just too nice. Great DD/mild wheeler.

I'd buy it. Pm if you get serious on selling it.
