I have a variety of questions all pertaining to the 2nd gen. 4runner.
Here it goes..


Rear LC lift:
1. Which side does the longer LC go on again?
(I remember it being the passenger, but I can't be 100% sure).

Cranking Torsion Bars:
1. I want to crank them 1/2 inch with the BJ spacers. I must be the only one
on this site that doesn't know how to crank them! How do I crank them?

Tire size and Backspacing:
1. I want to put 33 12.50 R15 tires and rims on after my LC and BJ spacer
w/ 1/2 t-bar crank lift. I was wondering what would be the right
backspacing for this set up? Also how do you know what backspacing a
wheel has??

There probably will be more questions on this thread I will post when I remember them.

what do you mean "you want to crank them 1/2" with the spacers?"
do you want 1/2" more lift after you install the spacers than you have now, or you want to install the spacers and get 1/2" more lift after they're installed?

with regards to the coils... hopefully a coil owner will pop in.

with regards to back spacing... that is the distance between the bead and the part of the rim that touches the hub. more backspacing pulls the wheel in towards the frame and less backspacing pushes the wheel out. related to but not the same as offset.

offset and backspacing are only the same when the backspacing is 1/2 of the rim width.

 

Yeah, I wanted to crank the t-bars 1/2 inch after the BJ spacers to make it a little more level.
