2002 chevy silverado 1500 buckets and center consol into 88 yota p/u?

i have noticed the front seats and center console out of a 2002 chevy silverado 1500 pickup are perfect for me... however im not sure about fitment.. i have no way to measure the chevy seats, thus have no idea if they'll fit in my truck. does anyone know if the buckets and the center console will fit in an 88 yota pickup? im choosing those seats cuz theyre super comfortable... you SINK into those seats...

I love the chevy silverado seats, they are extremely comfortable. The ones that are even better are the ones from the 2000 z71 tahoe.

But anyway, seems like those seats and console would be too big for your 88. I feel like the cab on the silverado is a lot wider...

Yeah I guess thats the only way you'll no for sure. Hopefully you got a buddy or something with a silverado so you can do it fairly easily...

Don't blame you though, everytime I would sit in my buddies Tahoe or now he has a Silverado I'm like wow. Why can't Toyota make some bomb seats like these...

The only thing I would worry about is the height of the chevy seat compared to the toyota seat. I have a 2002 Silverado and an 83 and 80 toyota's so I am fairly certain the chevy seat is higher to the top of the cusion from the floor than the toyota seat. I guess if you are not a tall guy that would make a whole lot of difference though. I think it would make my head touch the ceiling as it were. Just something to think about.

Bingo. thats why common seats for toys come from honda compact cars.

Toyotas have a floor to roof height closer to a civic than a silverado. You will need a sunroof unless you make some custom mounts, and even then it might not work. but give it a whirl.

ok so i got bombarded with a whole bunch of other crap to do so i couldnt finish but the two seats fits for sure.. didnt get to measure the center piece but i will by the end of this week.. Im 5'10" and with the chevy seats in ive got about 4 inches of headroom. However that was with the mounting brackets still on. Im sure with those off that would clear another 3-4 inches. That hardest thing for me will be how to bolt these bad boys in because i cant weld so making brackets isnt an option..I was even gonna try to put int he rear seat into the 4runner but that definatley would be too much work..Ohh and one more thing im worried about is i dont have tilt steering so with the drivers seat in i dont know if imma have enough room to squeeze in between the seat and the steering wheel.. We'll see..Pics next time.. sorry..
