Need help or to suggest a good shop in Chicago area for my 2000 Tacoma V6 4x4. Dealer wanted $1300.

 

find someone that know how... i bought my clutch for $300 and got it instaled for $300 by a friend of a friend.

 

If your going to do it yourself make sure you buy a clutch alignment tool so everthing lines up! While your in there you might want to replace your rear main seal too. I haven't changed mine out yet but I'll save the cash and do it myself! There not all that hard to do. I replaced a clutch in my 85 toyota when I replaced it with a Centerforce. Now I have to get one for the 2000 Taco.

Getting the flywheel resurfaced is a good idea while it's easy too.
