Prairie City (Nor Cal) Sunday 1/4/09
My buddy and I are going to make a trip up to prairie city on sunday. If anyone would like to join that would be great. The more the better. Depending on what time we get out there and how much wheelin we get in, if its not too late in the day we might head up Hwy 50 and mess around in the snow afterwards. I guess we'll just see how the day goes. I plan on leaving Vacaville around 7:30 or 8:00.

im in south sac (wilton) and if ive got the gas to make it ill sure as heck head out there. its only about 15 miles from me...
2 things tho, i have a stock runner with bigger tires, so i cant go on too radical of obstacles, but id still like to go!
and, i absolutely refuse to go thru the mud out there... its a clay base, and if its not IMMEDIATELY washed off it will harden to concrete! i had to deal with that on my brother in law's 85 pickup/buggy that he had... laying under there with a hammer and chisel for 2 hours was not an experience that i want to do again...

Yeah if you could make it out there that would be great. Ive never been out there but i can tell you right now that im not a huge fan of mud either. Ill probably be staying out of that stuff myself, as much as possible at least. I know theres a lot of it out there.

from the looks of it, you've got a pretty mean lil runner there...
too bad mines so stock... lol... i may not be able to do half the stuff you might, but i will be there on the sidelines waiting to pull you out... lol...

"Frame Twister"

Some ravine type thing where if you don't have your tires aired down you just slide all over

Not sure if anyone is meeting up with me. If you want to go we could definitely meet up somewhere.
I did give them a call. There are no closures, the park is fully open.

Ill be there.
I'll be in the 4runner. I doubt anyone else will be there looking like me.
I have to bail Prairie city around 12-1230, but that will give us plenty of time to mess around.
