1970 fj40

looking to purchase 1970 fj40 with vaccum type ingagement for the four wheel drive system have never seen this nor know anyone that has. Does anyone know if this is a problem or if it is easily changed over to the manual shift process.

Thanks

I have it on mine for the past 29 years. There are kits to change to a lever if you desire.
