Hi, sorry if this has been asked a 1000 times i tried searching and found nothing. I picked up a 22re out of a 89 truck, I thought it was a direct swap into my 94 but i thought wrong. Almost every electrical connection is different. Can I just swap the intake manifold from my 94 onto the 89 motor along with the other sensors? It looks like my 94 has a lot more vacume lines that attach to the valve cover so I assume I'll have to change that too? Thanks

 

as far as i know everything should swap over without a problem

 

everything seems the same straight down to the sensors, they just have the older "metal clip" style connectors instead of regular push and pull clips

 

I did almost the opposite swap as you did. I swapped a '94 22RE into an '88 truck. I used used the wiring harness and injectors from the '88, and swapped over anything else where connections, etc were different.
