About to lose my mind

Alright well u guys are probably tired of hearing me bit*h about this but i am at my wits end. I need an aftermarket air cleaner assembly. I DONT want to purchase the adapter (http://www.lceperformance.com/Asian-...-p/1033003.htm) from the incredibly overpriced LCENGINEERING. if the adapter is sold somewhere else please let me know and if it is cheaper so be it i will buy it and quit whining. but after searching for hours upon hours for some sort of work around I have decided to ask you guys one more time before i go play on I-5

thanks guys

I've seen mentions and requests, but LCE is the only place I've seen that seems to supply the adapter... and I've TRIED to search on behalf of people.

sorry.

Not to be horribly rude, but, you need a part - someone makes that part - just ante up and buy it. There is probably a reason you can't find it anywhere else...

well its expensive when your a highschool student working about 10 hours a week and the adapter will cost more than the filter will.

not to be horribly rude but who are you to judge what is and is not expensive to me?

Ha ha, nice line. I think I saw that somewhere once before.

I base that off the general cost of modifications for offroading. That is a small cost. You're right, that could be expensive for you (and others, believe me, I'm not made of money).

haha. well its all good. and true compared to other mod expenses it is cheap but i dont think its worth 40 bucks to put on a 30 dollar air cleaner. i think my 70 bucks would be better spent towards headers and exhaust

I don't think a filter would make much of a difference anyways, so yeah, I'd say your money could be spent elsewhere.

ya the main reason for wanting one is at a certain rpm the stock assembly vibrates and gets pretty annoying but i could probably find a little fix for that.
