Are you missing two whole rings on the 75 PSI pistons?

wierd...

one time i put a used/mystery motor in my truck. p.s. i will never try another mystery motor lol. and it had a knock, so i pulled the pan off and started pulling rod caps. only to find that number 3 rod had no bearing in it, completely gone. i was like wtf?... Ive seen them spun and in pretty bad shape, but never gone.

so you just gonna hone and re-ring it? or do a complete build?

I will complete re-build her and for "tc" Two pistons with two rings and two pistons with three rings, 3 rings is normal.

I had the same thing happen to me too, with an old 5M-E.

I vote re-hone and re-ring.
