Exhaust manifold????

I have an exhaust manifold that came off my 87 4runner 22re. Does anyone know if it will fit on a 82 pickup 4x4 with a 22r. The only difference i can tell is the heat shields are definitely different. That shouldnt be a problem. The blocks are the same correct? Ive got someone that would like to buy it i just want to make sure that it will work before i sell it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it should bolt up, but there may be an issue with the O2 sensor locations.

It will require some modification, if you want the center bolt to work.

You will have to:

A. Remove the stud from the head, and run without a center bolt(s)
B. Drill the 87 manifold in the center so the stud can pass through it, and be bolted down.

To answer the original question, NO the blocks are NOT the same. Nor are the heads. You are using a lightbulb style manifold on a round port head. It may or may not even seal correctly.

ports are different because of the nature of the PAIR system, which works on the venturi effect, it draws (sucks) air from the intake into the exhaust, as opposed to positive pressure from the once omnipresent air-pump (a.k.a. SMOG PUMP) forcing air into the exhaust.... nothing more, nothing less.
