My son recently had his right front wheel come off (at low speed in a dirt parking lot - tire shop issues/no lug nuts to be found ) We replaced the 3 sheared wheel studs and gave everything a good visual exam - all seemed to be OK. Since it was pulling to the left, we took it to have the front end aligned where they noticed that the tie rod on the LEFT side was rubbing the frame. They said they could not tell what was bent/tweaked/etc. and suggested taking it to a body shop to check the frame. It seems odd that the RIGHT front wheel came off, causing the right hub to hit the ground pretty hard, but the LEFT side seems to have the problem.
Any ideas at all?????
