anyone on wednesday, 11/5, have the day off in san diego?

anyone have that day off and willin to help me try to find the misfire in my 22re? its so bad now i can barely drive it above maybe 45. im sure its cylinder 3, which to get to i would need to take off the EFI/intake manifold, so i have adequate room to solder the wires. anyone down to help? ill make it worth your time.

ill pay for some beer, i dont kid about beer. a man who kids about beer makes enemies very easily. and i need to solder wires cuz the P.O decided to cut the injector lines to put in some ebay 'performance chip' and then found out he cut the wrong ones, so put it on the IAC sensor. which he just spliced the fuel injector cords, didnt solder them. (hence why theres still a chip with a switch in the glovebox. i dont notice much except that my gas mileage drops from around 19 to 10mpg. why i havent used it at all except to see 'hey whats this do???' lol) i tried to fix them back in february, and seemed to fix it for awhile. id still like to make 100% sure thats the issueand scuba, what do you think your time is worth? some beer? maybe lunch?

lol, Id help for free if you can make it victorville, I heven have a garage with a rolling cabinet jam packed with tools.

I dont have the days off, but I do work from home, and after 5pm, its free reign.

In fact, i had a similiar issue on my truck, had to replace ALL the connectors under my hood, and redo the harness... came out ultra sweet, fireproof, and water proof!

heres my write up: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...ectors-157918/

You might have found your problem there, solder those leads back up nicely, and see if it solves your problem. While your at it, make sure he didn't pull one of the plugs off the injectors or something dumb. Wait, just thought about it, but pull the spark plugs one at a time and when you get to the plug that doesn't effect anything, you found your cylinder.

I can solder fairly well, my dad used to do it for a living, and he taught me...
So I can do as much as possible to trouble shoot and then do what i can with soldering...
You have my number, just let me know

Dude! If you end up needing professional help, I seriously recommend “The Truck Shop” 8650 Miramar rd, 858-967-2141. in my opinion James really knows what he’s doing on Toyotas and he’s honest. Good luck!
