Couple quick harness questions.

I have a plug and a wire under my truck that I'm not so sure what they do.

Truck is an '84, but the motor is an '87 22RE.

First thing is this one that comes off the top of the trans it feels like.

Second, I bought this truck and the previous owner took out the O2 sensor and capped the bung. The only other wire that goes down around that is this one single wire you can see hanging down by the front driveshaft here.

Would you all agree that that is the sensor wire? Whoever did the swap left a few random plugs loose in the engine bay, but I'm almost sure none of them are the sensor wire.

I wish I knew someone with another truck like mine so I could just look, but I get teased for owning a Toy in GM country, so thats kind of out of the question

For the one off your transfer case does your '4x4' indicator on the dash light up when you have the truck in 4WD?

Are you running a body lift? Just curious because of the cuts around the TC selector...

Edit:
here is the 4x4 indicator sensor and wire on the right side of the TC:

The other end of the 4x4 sensor plug hanging down from PS of truck:

Yeah, there is a 3 inch body lift. I bought it like that, and made custom TC shifter to clear the cab a little bit better, and a gearshift to match. I did plan to take it out, but I got antcy when I was getting ready to fab up my front bumper, so its still there.

Right now I have the "Function before form" mentallity. Someday I'll make everything look not so booty fab.

But no, there is no indicator. I didnt even think of that. Thanks for clearing that one up.

Ahh, so more than likely the wire thats hanging down is the indicator..

Alright, so I'm on the search for the O2 sensor wire then. Got any pictures of that side or know where it comes out of the harness from the engine bay?
