New Ride (new to me)

My 4.3 swap into my '91 runner has been delayed due to a $400. purchase.
Do you think I got my moneys worth?

It's a '90 runner sr5 with 3.0 and auto. It is kinda rare around here 'cause it's a 2 door. I have only seen one other 2 dr. in this body style. The engine is knocking and needs to be rebuilt. Once it's running my wife said she would go wheeling with me (she can't drive stick). Plus she has already claimed it as hers, so no swapping in a 5 sp. and no
Oh well.

I have never seen a 2dr in person. Being that rare I would say yes you got your moneys worth! Even if it was a 4dr it would be worth it.

I will get better pics when I get it home. The inside is pretty much the same as a 4 dr. And as far as teaching her, she already knows, just doesnt want to.

Damn, thats a killer deal!

Love the 2dr 4runners, they are fairly common up here

You gonna do any performance goodies in the rebuild?

I would love to, thought about putting the 4.3 into this truck with my manual tranny, but the wife says no. She wants this one (hopefully to go wheeling in). It will be a basic rebuild, but when I swap the engine in mine, I will have an extra comp. and other stuff in case it breaks down.

Well, if you're not afraid to change engines, replace that 3.0 with anything else instead of rebuild LOL.
