question about heater not getting hot

My ac doesnt work or my Heater.

Its either my blown head.

Heater core

Or i dont havea thermostat in my truck

lol im guessing on one and 3.

and also my engine is very loud when i rev it up.

is there away to make this very quite?

well, if the heater won't blow warm air (considering the dash fan runs) then either the heater core is plugged or the valve that regulates coolant through the heater core is plugged or stuck or the coolant lines back to the water pump are clogged, or the control rod that connects the temp lever to that valve is stuck.
that has little if any influence on the a/c though, if the lever is moved all the way over to cold, so no heat does not mean the problem/cause/solution is the same as no a/c.

but let's go back to the engine... what do you mean the engine is very loud?

the fan and everything. its just loud. like air loud.

A previous car i had worked on had this same problem. Turned out to be air in the system... alot of it.

what does the coolant temperature gauge read when the engine is "warmed up"?

right in the middle after awhile.

and just all around the engine is loud. just all around is loud. revs out really loud not like normally my 22re did or my buddys 3.0 v6 does. got any ideas on how to make it quite?
