Rear tire well rubbing with 285's and Revtek 3" lift

During compression my 285/75/16's BFG MT's rub on the back of the wheel well of my 2002 4runner. The only suspension modification I have is a 3" Revtek lift. I also have the limited which gives me the mud flaps that go with that. I've researched the forums and couldn't find a good answer to this questions. My thoughts on a solution are to use the Sonora Steel Bumpstop extension or possibly do a 1" body lift but I'm unsure either of thiese will work for sure. Has anyone else find an inexpensive solution to this?

Yeah I have found a solution. Take off the mud flap and cut your bumper. I had to do it with my 255/85's

I've been running 285's for almost 6 months now and haven't had that issue. I have LC coils in the rear with OME 882's up front and no rubbing anywhere except on full lock turning when flexing up front.

I have similar rubbing with 285/75/16 and 890's. 2001 with the sr5 fat fender flare trim. It is pretty minor except for the few bolt heads that stick out.

I have considered the bumpstops and the body lift and THINK either would cure the rubbing.

Instead, I plan to replace the hex head bolts with a flush mounted head and live with it untill I get a custom rear bumper.

I had the same in the rear with no problems but I ended up getting LC coils for the rear anyways. It will look and work much better with LC coils. Someone usually has them on here for cheap

Here's a cheap solution. Just get some rectangle stock steel, cut them and drill them and put some Daystar bumpstops on them.

Another option is to take off your flares, or cut them. I trimmed my rear bumper as well to allow for the full stuff:
