Which R154 bellhousing is this? The R154 was bolted up to several motors.

M series bellhousing I assume?

What engines? I only knew of the 7MGTE which this was from. Are the 2/3JZ motors different bolt patterns? Input shaft different?

The R154 also came on the 1JZ (and will bolt up to a 2JZ too). Input shaft length is the same. Flywheel, and clutch assembly are identical to that of a 7M, except the JZ crankshaft bolt pattern is an 8 bolt rather than the M series offset 6 bolt.

You don't find those a lot in North America, but it's worth mentioning

So you asked which motor this came off of but it is all the same whether it was a M series motor or a JZ. You do not find many of these here in North America? Their is tons of these transmissions. I see 87-92 Turbo Supra's for sale on Ebay and Craigslist all th time.

To answer your original queston, I do not know exactly what this came off of all I know it is a R series bellhousing for the Supra's. I assume it came of a 7MGTE motor.

No, I meant you don't see manyof the JZ R series bellhousings a lot over here.

And no, it's not the same. The engine bolt pattern is completely different. I would say 99% that yours is a M series though.

I looked it up, it is from the 7MGTE. I do not know much about the JZ motors.
So to answer anyone's question, this IS a R154 bellhousing for the 7MGTE engine.
