What have you found in your oil pan?

I dropped my oil pan today as I had the front diff out anyways and I found
  • one bolt timing chain guide bolt with a gouge in it (likely the one that came loose an severed my chain last fall)
  • a couple links and pins
  • a dozen pieces of timing chain guide, from a previous breakage- last time, my guides never broke.
  • brass wire bristles from when I tried to clean the lip of the oil pan (bottom of timing cover) with a wire bristle brush and the thing wasn't rated for the speed Dremels turn at and it exploded
  • some pieces of rocker (s?)

Now, as I have the pan out, give me ONE good reason why I should not stash one of my spiders gear left over from my diff in there. Now that would screw with the next guys's mind . What would you put it there?

...a bullet shell... or maybe just the lead part of the bullet, and ding a little dent on the side of the pan and make it look like it was patched with a weld...

or maybe a little porcelain budda figure...

that would be random as hell, lmao

I think a bent valve would be hilarious cause think of the next guy losing sleep imagining how the valve contorted its was up through the valve guides into the rocker cover, then down past the timing chain, past the sprocket and into the pan.

Of course a purple rubber phallus would also be funny.

Oh this is good. I like the bent valve idea the best so far. A complete compression ring would have them scratching their heads for a while too.

Found a bunch of bugs one time. Mosquitos, looked like.

The truck had been sitting a while.
