magna flow cat yes or no

i have a 94 pickup 3.0 i was wondering how the magna flow cats were?
i checked them out on jcwhitney. the web site says that they are $89.99 that sounds alittle to cheap to me. and they say that there custom fit with no welding i think thats a little to got to be true.

what do you think?

Check ebay for single exhaust components....I think I paid around 50 bucks for a NEW magnaflow cat...way cheaper than anything else I saw....

What does "custom fit" , no welding mean? slip fits?

I have a Magnaflow 2.5" cat on my 4runner and it's held up for the last 3 years (no meltdown, not broken) For CA emmissions I don't think there's enough surface area though to really clean the exhaust so I'll probably be buying a cat with a bigger body.

I have been running a SS magnaflow highflow universal cat (2.25") for over a year. I pass smog no problems, also helps out flow.

did you have the shop put your cat on or did you do it yourself?
