Which shackles should i get? 93 4x4 P/U
Well i got my Downey springs yesterday and was going to install them last night at work. I got all new hardware and shocks but the only thing i didn't get was shackles. I was planning on just sliding the spring off the OE shackles (yea right) the inner metal bushing is corroded to the shackle bolt, but after 312K miles in Michigan thats expected. So now im going to get new shackles so i can just cut it all off.
I've been searching here for which ones to get, I'm looking at the WabFab because there greaseable, or Marlin. What i noticed with both is that the sides of the shackle are straight but the OE ones have that offset in them. at the frame there wider than at the spring, and ive read that a lot of people have trouble getting the wrong bushings too?
What ones did you get? get everything you needed? What ones should i get?
Thanks.

That being said, no pair of shackles (with bolts/bushings) is going to fit every application and you shouldn't expect it to.
Shackles:
http://www.wabfab.org/products/suspension/shackles.htm
Narrow rear shackles fit 79-88 Pickups and 84-89 4Runners. Wide rear shackles fit 89-95 Pickups.
Stock height is 3.5" so anything over that divide by two and that is typically the amount of lift they provide.

With dozens or more spring combinations and variables, not all bushings are going to fit all springs...just like all tires don't fit the same car...different sizes. The shackles on most of the off-road websites are for off-road applications with the springs they use, not another companies, yet there is some commonality in the setups.

The bushings im concerned about are the ones for the frame hanger, I have bushings for the spring end.
