It would work if you swapped the injectors(maybe injection) also. Like above though your comp could be too high, but i am not sure. I know you can buy a turbo aftermarket bad boy for your stock 86 so i don't see a problem with compression. prob just create a lot of boost out of a low boost turbo.

oil lines are the easy part run a tree on the oil presure sencer and drill a hole in the pan done but as far as comp youll be fine think of the honda girls that do it all the time but fuel is going to be your brick wall you cant use a

You might be able to bolt it up, keep it under 3-4 psi and see it live for a while. If you go lean, it's going to make a big mess.
You don't need to drill and tap the block for oil lines. There are other ways to do it.
With a 9.4:1 compression motor and a turbo, I made (flywheel, not rear wheel): 169 hp, 244 ft/lbs torque. That's tuned - not going lean, and 93+ octane fuel.
Beyond 10psi I had real trouble getting any additional power.
E85 helps a bit, but at the cost of MPG.
