22re battery intake swap

What all do you need to do to swap the battery and intake? Will the wiring for the AFM reach if you pull it out of the harness?

I did something similar in my '85:

AFM wires need to be extended, at least in my case. I used a 9-pin Molex connector (I think 7 wires are used) from radio Shack and cut the wires near the AFM, put in a male and female connector on the ends (plug back in to test). Then make up an extension cable with matching male and female connectors and plug that in and the wiring is extended.
