t-case shifter ridiculously loud
My transfer case shifter makes this noise/vibration that sounds/feels almost like its touching something that's spinning very quickly. If i push on the shifter it dampens it a lot, but it i can still hear it. I also noticed that its pretty much nonexistent between 0-30, but once i hit 30 it gets loud enough to be heard over my music. It tends to get much quieter after I hit 40-45 but its still somewhat loud. I searched and there wasn't much on the topic except relating to a 3rd gen. What the heck is going on?! I need to fix this before I take the 1200 mile trip home from college in 3 weeks.

0-20 = Nothing Really
20-30 = Steering wheel (or perhaps the whole column) begins to shake up and down (bouncing I guess you could say) and gets faster
30-40= Shifter begins to make loud noise like something is causing it to vibrate. once i push on it, it dampens the vibration in the shifter and the noise quiets.
40-45 = When I'm on the gas I get a loud, low pitched vibration/humming that you can feel throughout the whole truck. as soon as let off the gas, it stops.
45+ = I don't know, I hardly ever get up that fast haha.
Now that I typed that all out, for some reason I'm liking the u-joint suggestion.

Check the output flange from the t-case for play. If found, unbolt the end of the drive shaft and snug up the nut (30mm staked nut) and see if the play goes away. If the leak continues, replace the seal.

Did a little more research and its amazing what you can find when you put the right words in...
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...-flange-92457/ ... sounds very similar, especially when its mentioned it was loose enough to leak.
