06 Tundra Rims Dont Fit On My 00 4runner

I bought a set of 20" Toyota Tundra rims and tires off a guy.I tried to put them on but they didnt go all the way on. Does the tundra have a smaller hub than a 4runner? Really confused??

I'm running stock '06 Tundra 16's on my 2000 4runner. Maybe they were not on a Tundra and came from a Chevy and he lied.

Adam F. Toyota actually did and does make 20" rims.

http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...QAdIdZ38859219

http://cgi.ebay.ca/20-Toyota-OEM-Chr...713.m153.l1262

and most of the new 07/08 Tundra's come with 20". BUT most of the Toyota 4x4's have 6 lugs except new ones, they now come with 5 lugs.

My theory is the hub end cap on the 4runner and taco are bigger than that of the Tundra. Because the 4runner and taco can utilized manual hubs where the tundra cannot and to my knowledge has never had or even been able to swap to them resulting in a smaller dia. hub end which makes those damn rims not fit. Now what can you do. Well you can machine them from the back leaving the mount surface for the center cap intact and kabam they will work. I use wheel spacers and found out that I can run center caps even with my hubs.

I'm taking your offer...

I want to install tundra 2008 18" rims on my 05 tundra and I understand I need a conversion kit, because of the 5 hole 6 hole difference...
What kit is that?

Also
1-How will that affect the tire pressure sensor?
2-In order for the odometer to show mileage correctly, what is needed?

Thanks

Uhm. No. You don't convert lugs to run a stock wheel. Get wheels that are the correct bolt pattern.
