2 Questions, I have seen quite a few pictures of 85 pickups with a second gauge cluster above the center dash (radio/heater) on top of the dash, it dosent look stock, but I have seen alot of pics so I wonder. castros thread about switching gauge clusters has one. Second question is, the sr5 1985 pickup, did it have alot of options? I put it an offer on one with power windows, cruise, bucket seats, tach, excab, rear slider and sun roof, but another one I missed that I really wanted also had a tilt wheel and a rear defrost, just wondering if they are actually identical. I may be the new owner of a 85 SR5 for 3800 bucks $$

 

The guage cluster on the dash is an inclinometer. Search on here for lots of info. I'm not sure if all SR5's are the same.

very interesting, the one im looking at now has a clinometer but i dont see it in the pics, maybe its aftermarket, meh, guy will be calling in a few mins to answer my offer, fingers are crossed, can I get that clinometer at a parts shop?

 

No, you can`t get an inclinometer at a parts shop. you will need to call some wrecking yards that handle toyotas to see if they have one, or look in the parts for sale section on here.

 

Actually you can get aftermarket inclinometers, but they obviously won't say toyota on them.
