Running with no P/S belt short distance?

My old power steering belt has given up and I was wondering if it'll possibly hurt anything to run my 91 4Runner with no power steering for very short in town trips. The belt goes from the fan pully to the P/S pump only. I've ordered the parts, so it's just until I get the belt in the mail.
THanks!

Ordered parts? It's just a belt, autozone had several in stock here in Searcy when I rebuilt my pump last month. I know Calico Rock is smaller but not that much smaller, you should have been able to find the correct belt, no other parts are needed.

& yeah, they're right it won't hurt a thing but your arms.

I lost mine 10 minutes into a 4x4 weekend once. Being dumb and inexperienced, I didn't have a spare. Needless to say, my arms were ripped after that trip...
