Just curious if anyone has ever heard of Atlas winches.

Been looking around for a winch and found this these. Read on this site about Smittybuilt and probably go with it but was curious about these.

I've heard of them in passing, couldn't tell you if they are any good or not. All I have ever used or been around while being used were Warn & Mile Marker....oh & Ramsey.

 

it's gonna be slow, but it does have a series wound motor like warn and t-max. but for $520 shipped you can get a warn M-8k, so the atlas is $400+shipping, you can bet it will be around $50 or more. unless you pick it up. so you may as well buy a warn

 

I just curious if anyone ever heard of them guess not. I never owned a winch or used one before and just been lookin around. I know Warn is a great brand and have read some reviews on the Smittybilt saying they are pretty good just slow. Save up my money some and eventually build a bumper and mount a winch in it.
