I own a 1990 4runner. I've heard there was a recall on the engines or valves on the toyata's manufactored in late 89 to early 90. I bought mine used and have no idea if mine has had this recall. is there a way I can find out using my VIN number. any help would be appritated

You can call Toyota and give them your vin and they can tell you if there are any recalls on your truck.
