Keep it, everyone's got a Tacoma....not everyone's got a Land Cruiser. You've got something special. Keep it.

why dont you just get a hitch rack to toss your deer on?? you go that cruiser for cheap man! keep it. i love those things. or you can line the back end with trash bags or tarp for the deer. thats what we did till i got a tacoma :-)

well you outbid me. I would go as high as 1400, since he paid 1500 for it.

There is nothing like being able to throw muddy boots, wet clothes....or a bloody carcass in the back of a truck bed. Easy clean up and you don't have to smell it on the way home. This is the only reason why I sometimes wish I'd gotten a Tacoma.

I love those LC's, esp. the 80's, but sometimes, they get way overrated. People buy or keep them, only because of the ohhhhh, ahhhhhh, factor. Get a vehicle that suits YOUR needs.

that's what i was referring to, guess he missed it. good luck in your search. knowing you, you'll find a pristine tacoma in exchange for a grilled cheese sandwich and some pop rocks! now i've got that rod stewart song in my head "some guys have all the luck..."

its funny how we all know how he got his land cruiser and how much he paid for it...

we have no lives haha.

keep the LC man, its really nice. if you put a deer up in there, put a tarp down in the back, and cover him. also, maybe have some fabreeze in there for safe keeping lol.

I dig having my Tacoma. With the four doors and full backseat, it's enough room for the fam, plus it wheels. I imagine there are pluses to having the LC, but I love my Tacoma.

So, I won't be trading you.

i agree with you 100% BUT his is paid for, its nice, he got it dirt cheap and all he needs is a used hitch rack on the back for 40-60$ tops.. thats what i did when i owned a cheep grandcherokee.. hell i have even tossed a few on top of the cheep till i rolled down my window one day and got blood all in it.. argh that stunk.

All I'm saying is, get something that fits your needs the best. Sure, that hitch rack isn't a bad idea, but if I were an avid big game hunter, there is no better substitute for a truck bed. He really could either sell it or trade it for a truck (93-95 PU or 96+ Tacoma or even a T100). There are plenty of people looking for LC's. Also, the maintenance will be much better for the PU or Tacoma.

I love going duck hunting and we always use my friend's Tacoma. So nice being able to throw all the junk in the back.
