Turn Signal Questions

I am replacing my factory tail light with new LED lights. I have a single LED light that I am using for my turn signal front and rear. However, with the LED's hooded up the flasher only buzzes and the light stay on. If I touch a regular metal light 1156 bulb that is, to the power and ground, the lights start flashing. Anyone else had to deal with this problem? If so how did you fix it?

Could it be possible that the LED lights require a heavy duty Flasher???

Just the opposite. LEDs draw less power than bulbs, so they are not loading the flasher enough to get it to flash.
