Tubing fittings for bumpers
i did a google search for 1 3/4'' tubing fittings to make a rear bumper and sliders, all that pops up are plumbing , pipe (sch 40), and pvc. does anybody make 45's and 90's for tubing? i am not ready step out there and buy a good tubing bender, and i don't want to spend the money on a cheap harbor freight bender.

I have seen bends sold at steel dealers. Try checking at a steel dealer that sells handrailing supplies. Some of it is pretty stout.
P.S. The HF bender isn't too bad. I've used one on a few things. It does tend to flat spot the tubing, put some oil on the tube so it can slide.

Build the stuff out of square tubing if you don't want to bend tubing.
Structural fittings such as Klee-clamps or speed rails sell fittings for 1 3/4" tubing- but i wouldn't use it for bumpers or sliders. they are not cheap either.

pipe bender
I have a hydraulic pipe bender that I bought at Harbor freight. It works very well if you fill your pipe with sand and plug the ends (unplug and drain after bending). It does take me considerably longer to bend what a proper pipe bender could do much, much faster.

I have built plenty with my Harbor Freight bender. I like it. Sure it's not like a $500 bender with $125 dies, but I have abused my bumpers quite a bit and they hold up well. I bet if you could buy 45's and 90's, once you welded them up and hit a tree, they would probably bend or brake right where you welded them.
