Injector installation - no engine oil on the o-rings?
Posted this question in my rebuild thread, but with no responses I'll make a separate thread for this.
Why is it that the FSM specifies and emphasizes to NOT use engine oil on the o-rings during injector installation. I see witchhunter says you can use that, but I haven't been able to figure out why the FSM has that statement in there. Any injector specialists out there who knows the answer to this?

I read something somewhere where they suggested that the note in the FSM is a product of a bad translation. Even witchhunter suggests engine oil on their website, so I guess it can't be that bad. I hope it's not since I discovered the note in the FSM after I had installed the injectors using engine oil
