What clusters are compatible with my truck

I have a 94 22RE with a base model cluster. I would like to install a SR5 cluster. I would like to know what clusters are compatible with my truck. I saw one in a early model tacoma at a yard, would that one work even though its from a different generation. thanks

In order to simplify things at the assembly plant, most all of the same models were made compatible. When models change however, wiring changes (a little) so you would just have to compare the connectors on the back of them both (and wire colors).

buy the right oil sender from a parts store
