I heard a "rough" story on another forum of a guy who put one into an 89 pickup but that's about all I heard.

You can pretty much almost swap anything into anything. What it comes down to is how much money you have?

 

The dimensions of the 2uzfe aren't really different from the 1uzfe as I understand and there have been a number of those swapped in the 1st/2ng gen 4runners... Check out lextreme.com and uzswap.com for some ideas. I'm in the very early stages of a 1uzfe buildup for my 86 4runner.

 

I also have a 2uz that I would like to try and get in my 94 4-runner. I guess we will just have to find out the hard way, since no one else seems to have done it.

 

before you dig into this, research, it requires a lot more work than the 1uz swap.

 

So did you end up doing this my engine took ist last ride a like last week now I am in the stage of research to bring mine back with a new Hart 1994 4runner in California.
