Rear Defogger NFG

My 2nd gen rear defogger hasn't worked for a while. Fuses all seem okay. Anyone know of a quick fix? The dash switch lights but thats it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

On my 93 the wires came detached from the bottom of the defogger grid. You have to remove the panel on the tailgate to see it though. The 2 wires go onto a small metal bit that's attached to the bottom of the window, or not attached in my case. I managed to fix mine by soldering the metal bit back on.

x2, One of my wires broke off the bottom of the window. The only way to fix it was to solder the wire back onto the broken connection that was left on the glass.

youll want to make sure that the wires do not get tangled up when the glass goes up & down or it will break the solder joint. ive tried several times to limit the wire movement without much success.
