How many times you replace HG?
Hello to you all. I have 1990 4Runner 4x4 137.000 my HG was done back in 1998. My question is how often do they fail?

engine type? my 22re is a head case. Those gaskets by fel pro keep failing on me... i'm gonna lay down the cash for an OEM toyota if this one does go.

No clue...but my 94 v6 pickup had the recalled HG done around 1998 with under 100K on it. Now almost a decade later and 203K on the clock and it's still going strong. Just drive it!

Done on mine at 60K in 1996 and still going strong with 121K.
