have you checked for water in the oil, or oil in the water. take a good look at your head gasket. if i am not mistaken, and i hope i am, white smoke is water in the combustion chamber, if it is doing it after everything has warmed up, then it is not condensation . 3.0 have a bad rap for their head gasket

so... ive just got done testing the TPS and its working fine! so... my runner is still looking for a happy place at idle ( its idling very low 250 and surging up to 1200) its also blowing dark exhaust fumes ( not white which would lead one to the HG) so its running rich and surging im thinnking TIMING anythoughts beyond that ? that being said how about some opions on DIY timing belt ive never done one on a yota looks easy have the fsm im looking now for tricks to it so FIRE AWAY

i had the same problem, but all i had to do was buy part of the air hose that connects to the throttle body, it wasnt sealed good enough "meaning the previous owner had it ELECTRICAL-TAPED" to try and seal it. :p

if theres a leak then theres no vacuum seal, which powers like everything and youre fuel/air ratio, im no expert but i can maybe guess its just a not clean explosion, i had to constantly keep the idle up at stop lights just to not kill it.
