the problem started when i shut the truck off and pull the key the daytime running lights, abs pump was staying on.also the oil pessure light came on.i have tested the ignition switch and it seems fine.i then started pulling fuses one at a time.alas when i pull the alt-s 7.5 amp fuse in the engine bay fusebox everything shuts off.i should also mention that the issue was intermittent at first and now all the time.any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks in advance

Might check the relays, perhaps one of them is sticking on. Since you have it isolated to a fuse, check the relays that are on the circuit that fuse is for and see if any are still on (pull the relay and see if things shut off). Relays can do this if the contacts become pitted and you get enough buildup on one side of the contact to span the gap between the contacts or if the contacts actually become welded together.
