heres the question.. i have a parts truck that ran great... off this truck i have taken a cold start injector.. dirty but i cleaned it up and a cold start injector timer???

now my 4runner STARTS like a dream WHEN ITS PARKED IN THE GARAGE..

when i park in the drive way NO DICE.. it will crank and crank and crank and if i hold the gas down and smell gas for a few cranks then it might start to sputter and then finally get it to start... which is very bad... new plugs and wires are new..

which peice does yotatech think might be the issue??

The cold start time switch is what turns on the cold start injector. Check it out and make sure it is working properly (a factory service manual will have the test procedure). Also, might try the fuel pump test jumper:

ok so i am on the right track...hopefully it will continue to start in the garage till i can get into her on the weekend

 

x2 on the cold start injector (CSI), or the wire to the CSI.
