What's the difference for the 22RE & V6? as far as the tach goes?

The RPMs won't be right if you use one on the other because each work with a different signal. I don't know how to explain technically why that is.

Hmm... I can see what you mean. It's just weird. I thought by running the wire to the tach it would read the actual engine revo's.

if you can set it to 253,300 miles ill take it. i dont want to be spinning the odometer forward all day, so if you got a quicker way of doin it without it being noticable(fingerprints etc), please do. if not, ill still take it. what the hell.. i need somethin to do anyway lol

There's a how to on the web if you're using a V6 tach, there is a pot you can adjust.

However this is a 4 cyl tach. It won't work with a V6.

Sorry, it's illegal for me to adjust the odometer (forward or backward) - it can be done, and I can tell you how - of course I've never done it.. ;-)

It IS possible to surgically readjust the odometer digits. :-)
