ok .. so i'm working on the suspension for my "hot rod" 400 rwhp 2WD Toyota .

I'm using the Toyota Supra rear IRS , and want to Cantilever it . I some plans already drawn up , and got it figured , I think ???

I cant find any sites , or close up pics .. I looked at some F1 cars , but anybody got any links ? sites ?

 

You will never find much info on a cantaliever rear set up. It is a bit of a funky, complicated design. I have never seen one on a car but there are some good pics of the Baldwin Trophy truck with rear cantaliever suspension at:

are you taliking about cantilever or rocker arms.

I believe the extreme off road folks use cantilever and F1 uses pushrods and rockers with control arms of some sort.

I guess its more of a "rocker" style .. Hopefully I'll have some pics soon .


I was also hoping to "lay down " the fronts ... but I dont think that is going to happen
