OME N91SC and Tundra Coils

Is anyone running the OME front comfort shocks with Tundra Coils. I searched and found people running OME 890's and comforts, but havent been able to find anything on the front. It's just too stiff up front. I'm thinking of getting all new shocks all around. I'm considering OME comforts opn all 4 corners. Thanks.

I'm running OME N91S up front with my Tundra coils. My ride is great but I do have the extra weight from the bumper and winch that you won't. I also have limit straps up front due to the additional shock length.

I am running tundra springs with the N91sc shocks and the ride is great. I do not have the top spacers and lift is good without them. TJM front bumper with no winch, so not much extra weight up front.

The Tundra' and Trekmasters are just to stiff without extra weight. I think Im switching to OME's.

The black shocks work the best.

Those or the black ones SS mentioned would work much better.

what are the black shocks? Are you just talking about the stock shocks? Can some one give me a model number and a place I can order them?

I heard the the OME's are stiffer than the Trekmasters. I really don't think your going to get away from the stiffness. I think it's the Tundra coils doing it, not the shocks. It may help a little going with some ultra light weight shocks, but keep in mind those springs were designed to support the weight of a V8 and a full size truck.

FAQ # 22

I think you will be surprised to see how close the vehicles are in weight. The Tundra coils will not work correctly if they are not paired up with the right shocks. We have not used the Tokico Trek Master with the Tundra coils in over a year, This black shocks we currently use or the Blue TRD shock is what we currently offer and what we fell produces the best results.
